Sydney Wedding ⌁ Tayissa & Andrew

As featured on Polka Dot Bride.

Firstly, this was hands down, the best dance party ever. Trust a group of Ukranian kossack dancers to bust a move on the d-floor.

I’m so excited to have had my first interstate wedding in Sydney, and knowing how special the Harbour Bridge was to Tayissa and Andrew.

Andrew always joked to Tayissa he would propose if her Baba became ill. She had flown to Sydney for her 88th birthday and shortly before she left her Baba was admitted to hospital. Andrew rang while she was on the way to the airport unaware of what had happened. He informally proposed and was a bit upset when she didn’t react how he expected. When she told him what happened, it was as if it was meant to be. They bought a ring together a few weeks later and a few months later he surprised her on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

I’m so grateful to have travelled to this destination and captured those moments with them. Some beautiful traditions mixed with one of the best parties I’ve ever been to!
